Fairy Garden Fasination

I have long, long held a fascination for Fairy Gardens whether they be huge elaborate creations or a simple broken pot reused that is now full of imagination.

I’ve always lived in apartments where there is no room whatsoever for an elaborate set-up to be devoted to such a project.  Yet, I now live in a house (rented) where I could make a fairy garden (or tons) as indoor projects.

So, now I’m searching out ideas that I could put into practical use… it has to be practical for I’d never leave these beauties behind so they must be small enough to be moveable should that need arise.

During a year that has held more than its fair share of stress, tension, and uncertainty this new hobby may be a way to channel those chaotic thoughts and fears into something relaxing and therapeutic in the end.

If you need a way to de-stress from life’s reality, then creating your own Fairy Gardens (no matter the size) might be something you’d like to do as well.  I’ll be plotting and planning, as well as gathering information over the next few weeks – let’s see if I have a green thumb or if the faeries will help with my creations.

I saw the image above on Pinterest (I’ve no idea yet who the originator is but when I do I’ll give proper credit and link).
